Avast and windows 7 system restore

Hi, just wondering if there is any progress with avast allowing a successful system restore yet???

System restore has alway’s worked for me, last 6 month’s anyway.

I do not use System Restore as I have Comodo Time Machine instead.
But, as far I know, problems with it was solved in 5.0.594 version released months ago.
