Running Avast on my Google Nexus 7 (2012) without a problem till this morning. Received a “warning PUP” message that the “Apex” launcher had a Trojan I started checking into it and then got a notice that “Google Play Store” was infected. Neither made any sense. No porn, out of network games or rooting done. Ended up uninstalling Avast and then reinstalling. Ran a scan of all programs and data with zero problems. I’m on a secured wifi network so none of this makes sense. Anyone else having a problem??
Wrong virus definitions have been released.
Turn off App Shield for now.
It will be fixed via update soon.

Please use the search option on this webboard before asking.
Many things have already been explained, many questions have already been answered.
I had the same question and it was answered, however I had done a search on the forum, I just didn’t know exactly what to search for. perhaps with issues like this the forum hosts could post a sticky not at the top of the forum with a quick notification and the date. alternatively that could also make an announcement on facebook etc.
I would agree you regarding searching for the answer first, however most non technical people will not necessarily know which terms to use to search and as every post can be completely different the answer may not appear on a search (as happened to me)
Reinstall Mobile security (1-2 days old signatures) and wait for an update. ;D
