Avast Anti Track (Ultimate). macOS 15.0 No longer works

Since upgrading to macOS 15.0 Anti Track no longer works

It opens at start up, but tracking functions not enabled

I’ve tried to re-enable but they won’t
Uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same.

In Mac’s settings it’s enabled on both ‘Login & Extensions’ and ‘Privacy & Security’/‘Full Disk Access’

Error occured changing tracking detection
(WebProxyProcessError.termin-
ated (“[“shouldRelaunch": true,
(“status|”: 10,
(“standardError’”:, "retriesCount)”: 0]”))

I’m assuming this is an issue with the new macOS as I’ve read reports of security software from various companies not working - is this a known issue?

Thanks

Hi.

I get the some issue. Any news?

Thanks.

Hi,

I did an online chat in November, I was told it’s a ‘known problem’. Since then nothing.

Still on latest version 1.6.3 released on 28 August.

Have you tried contacting Avast and getting a case raised?

Thanks

Any update on this issue. I have the same problem on two different macs all running Sequoia.

Absolutely nothing heard. I even raised a complaint but they haven’t replied to that either!

Please raise a case and include ink to this topic, just maybe someone will notice :crossed_fingers:t2:

I contacted AVAST and they are working on the problem. Heres the chat:
is frustrating, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused since September 23, 2024.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen complexities, a fix for this bug won’t be available until sometime in Spring 2025. We know this is a considerable wait, and we’re working diligently to deliver a stable and effective solution as quickly as possible.

@user1535 Thanks for getting the latest update.

There is hope of a fix soon for us all :slightly_smiling_face: That said 6 months to fix is a very long time!

I have the same issue—incompatibility with macOS 15.0 has also affected Avast Cleanup. When Avast said Spring 2025, is it based on European Spring or Australian Spring season?

No problems for me with Avast Cleanup.

My licence expires in a few weeks, but they have extended this for another 3 months. So hopefully they will have the AntiTrack problem fixed before July 2025 :crossed_fingers:t2:

Same here…not working same error on macOS 15.3. Contacted Press as we do reviews of products and you guessed it… they read the mail but don’t give any response or feedback. Terrible service as far as we ‘macapps.cloud’ are concerned. The worst we found yet!!

Until this issue I’ve had no problems with Avast for over a decade, going back to using Windows.

Apple has Alpha and numerous Beta releases for software manufacturer’s to iron out any new bugs before the public release. The latest version of AntiTrack was released on 28 August last year, not sure how they missed this major problem.
