avast ask for pro ed. and refuse key after conversion from FAT32 to NTFS

Hello,

I’m using avast 4.7 Edition Familiale (Home FR) under Windows XP Pro FR SP2. Last days, I’ve converted the C: partition from FAT32 to NTFS and now avast doesn’t work :frowning:

I gest a message asking to buy the Pro edition and nothing appear in the system tray. Also, I’ve tried to uninstall, reboot, then reinstall and it remain the same.

Just one time, I’ve reached the licence box after closing of this warning message : then, I’ve tried to enter a key (two times : a one I’ve already and a one asked a new time on avast site)… But, in both case, it says me the key is invalid.

What to do ?

Reinstallation of the program should certainly help. Make sure to restart the computer between the uninstall and install steps. Also, to be sure, you can use aswClear.exe after running the normal uninstallation.
