Avast Blocked by Group Policies

Hi,
I seem to have an issue in which avast is being blocked by a ghosted administrator created from a virus.I have searched these fourms aswell as google for solutions I could enact but it seems I need help. I first scanned my pc with Malwarebytes and it found 2 items and quarantined them but on restart it didnt change anything. I then preceded to a full system restore from 18/11/2014 to 12/11/2014. After this had also failed I reverted it back only to get this error both times on system restore; 0xc0000022 . I then downloaded and ran FRST (logs are attached) and I finished with a scan of malwarebytes again to see if that sprung up anything. At time oif writing I am also scanning with aswmbr.exe and will attach a log when thats done.

Any help is appreciated

Remover Notified.

Curious, how’d you get MBAM working?

HKLM Group Policy restriction on software: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes <====== ATTENTION

It was peculiar, When I initiated my first scan, there was a database update available but it would come up with the same issue I had with avast. But after doing everying post the initial scan, MBAM updated fine. It did it though through a reinstallation which was interesting.

Probably activated chameleon

Avast should start after the reboot

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

HKLM Group Policy restriction on software: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee <====== ATTENTION HKLM Group Policy restriction on software: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software <====== ATTENTION HKLM Group Policy restriction on software: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes <====== ATTENTION HKLM Group Policy restriction on software: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software <====== ATTENTION

EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Right I have done both and it seems as though it did the trick, avast opens now; of which ill let it do a full system scan to be safe.
Thanks for your help
Anything further you with me to do.

If all is well tomorrow let me know and I will tidy up

Sorry was unable to get a stable internet connection to reply, but it seems like the problem has been irradicated. Avast cannot find anything nor does malwarebytes.
Thanks again.
