Avast blocks sharepoint/onedrive download zip attempts

This must be a new thing as it has never happened before, but just earlier when I tried to download some files from sharepoint/onedrive, and it had to zip them as it was several files, Avast blocked the download.

If I tried to download the files individually it worked fine.

I couldn’t work out how to find the info on what it just did (couldn’t find the history) or how to unblock it, so I had to disable Avast temporarily to download the files.

Please advise.

Can you post the details of the Avast pop-up corresponding to blocking the download.

Which edition of Avast AV do you have Free or Premium (paid)?
Do you use Avast Firewall?

How do I find the details? As mentioned, I did have trouble finding this info.

I am on the free version, and yes, it seems like the firewall is enabled.

Did Avast present a popup alert when you attempted the download, or did just nothing download.
A popup would indicate which Avast shield was involved in blocking the zip download and aid investigation.

Yes, when I clicked to download the files (which starts a process to zip the files and then start the download), shortly after I got the popup saying it blocked it and it cited some URL in it that was different to sharepoint/onedrive, and perhaps it’s related to the zipping process?

I tried to generate it again, but after the initial time, now clicking the download button doesn’t do anything, unless it’s just a single file that it doesn’t need to zip.

If you are able to reproduce the pop-up, take a screenshot and post it here on the forum using the upload tool (7th item from left on Reply box toolbar).

Sorry, I somehow missed this message.

I’m not sure how I can reproduce it - is there a way I can stop it blocking it, and then perhaps it will trigger it to show again like the first time?
