Does anyone know how to stop Avast secure browser from installing?
I have already uninstalled this software but its re-loaded again.
I neither want or (knowingly) asked for this software.

Did you have avast safe zone browser installed?

Not that I was aware, I certainly don’t install additional browsers intentionally. I’d removed what is visible in the installed list of programs but turn the machine on yesterday to find the Avast Browser re-installed.
Avast Secure Browser is what is re-installing because you had or did have Avast SafeZone Browser at one time or very recently?
Avast SafeZone Browser is obsolete and not supported anymore and Avast Secure Browser is upgraded from Avast SafeZone Browser on user systems automatically if they have it installed.
Which is why the question about whether you had Avast SafeZone Browser is relevant.
If you don’t want the Secure browser, remove it.
