Avast Business Patch Management

We have detected some problems with Avast Business Patch Management.

Avast says: “I am emailing you in regards to the patches failing issue with a minor update - as a workaround, in case you do not wish to wait until the actual fix deployment, you can un- and reinstall the patch service (simplest way to do so would be via managing services in the console), which addresses/fixes the issue.”

This issue has been fixed by our development team, and the fix has been released via a hotfix yesterday evening, 22. April.
In order for the fix to apply properly, we recommend to restart the affected device(s).
