Thanks. Done

I still haven’t heard from anyone, I have to give the pc back soon so I may have to uninstall avast unless someone can help me soon?

Update to the latest version: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=169887.0

I created a support ticket a couple days ago, and I still haven’t got any replies! I’m very dissapointed to say the least. I have given the pc back to my friend with 360 essential installed, I wish I could have kept avast installed :frowning:

Why where you using a friends pc to watch a video in the first place ?
Ever thought that not avast caused the bsod, but something on his system ? e.g. malware

I know this is late (forgot about this thread) I had just reinstalled windows and was simply testing the machine.
