Avast causing system freezes!

I have been struggling with system freezes for a long time. First I thought it was my ram overclock but I finally downloaded WhoCrashes program which said this:

On Sat 20.1.2018 1.11.36 your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: aswsnx.sys (aswSnx+0x7D7B3)
Bugcheck code: 0xBE (0xFFFFF882B853E818, 0x8000000001680121, 0xFFFFE5806052E620, 0xA)
Error: ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\aswsnx.sys
product: Avast Antivirus
company: AVAST Software
description: Avast Virtualization Driver
Bug check description: This is issued if a driver attempts to write to a read-only memory segment.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: aswsnx.sys (Avast Virtualization Driver, AVAST Software).
Google query: AVAST Software ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY

Specs:
Windows 10 1607
Ryzen 1600x
Gtx1080
Msi B350 Gaming Pro Carbon
G.Skill RipjawsV DDR4 16GB 2400Mhz
Corsair 750W RM750X 80+ Gold
Samsung Evo 850 Pro 500GB

Do I temporaly fix this problem by disabling the hardware virtualization?
Apparently not. My pc freezed again.

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
  • Which version…?
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Free
17.9.2322
Malwarebytes but it is free version so no active components running
None, Windows Defender since it is automatically on when you install Windows

Regarding Avast & MBAM, see: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/200324-exclusions-for-avast-users/

Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

If Repair doesn’t fix the problem, try the following:
Clean Install of Avast:

I posted my crash logs on other forum and there are 3 crashes indicating a problem with Avast system drivers. But after uninstalling Avast I have crashed 2 times already so that rules out that my main problem is Avast causing this. I am starting to suspect ram problems but memtest86+, memtest, Windows memorytest, Aida64 memory test show no errors after running the stability tests overnight.
