On installing sandboxie I was informed that there is a conflict between the two, I understand that the solution is to adjust the shield settings on the security tab of the main Avast window. Unfortunately my free avast does not appear to have this setting. Any advice would be welcome.
You do not have to set anything in avast!. Sandboxie will run without problems. Sandboxie 4.10 and 4.12 already has included the files from avast! giving ploblems. see image
The warning or alert informing you about avast! conflct with Sandboxie is just that, a warning.
