Avast Coordinator.app - what is it?

On my Macbook (Ventura) today a message from system preferences came up stating:

Background Items Added
"Avast Coordinator.app " added items that run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings.

Can anyone please tell me what this is and what it does. I cannot find any reference to it in the forums or on the web.

Hello,
this is a background app that synchronises licensing and messaging across all our products. It self removes some time after all our products are uninstalled.
