I placed a ticket for refund 20 days ago and have yet to hear anything back. When I attempted to call the support line and talk to an actual person I got a recorded message telling me to use the website. Extremely unimpressed.
It would perhaps have been better to post this in one of the other two topics you posted in as that would have the effect of A) bumping that to the top of the chronological order and B) they both have your ID number in them.
I don’t know what telephone number you phoned, if a support number, that is likely to be handled by a 3rd party support company on behalf of avast and they are limited in what they can, are allowed to do.
They have no access to order/payment details, so they can’t answer questions relating to orders/payments/refunds, etc. The would most likely refer you to the support ticket system to request a refund.
