I did scan with Avast but Avast didn,t find anything. then I checked computer with CS and CS found this: G:System Volume Information/__restore{59F6E433-BBA5-4CEA-AC5A-19E465DAFD1A}/RP2/A0000075.exe
The majority report this as riskware, e.g. a tool that can be used for good or evil, the problem being what was the intent.
Unfortunately being in the G:System Volume Information/ folder the original file name is changed so there is no way to determine what this tool was and as such if you actually installed it.
You can send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with the password in email body, a link to this topic and the VirusTotal results might help and possible undetected malware in the subject.
Or you can also add the file to the User Files (File, Add) section of the avast chest (if it isnβt already there) where it can do no harm and send it from there. A copy of the file/s will remain in the original location, so you will need to take further action and can remove/rename that.
Send it from the User Files section of the chest (select the file, right click, email to Alwil Software). It will be uploaded (not actually emailed) to avast when the next avast auto (or manual) update is done.
However if there is βanyβ doubt about a restore point in the System Volume Information folder then it is better out than in as at some point in the future you could use system restore and possibly infect your system.
