Avast doesnt answer their ticket support or honor their refunds.

I purchased Avast grimefighter about 2 weeks ago and realized that i cannot use it due to being connected to the internet via USB which the software does not support. This was never stated during, before, or even after purchase. Due to it being completely unusable for me I submitted a ticket requesting a refund about 2 weeks ago. There has been no replies or any word from avast. Their phone support is a joke and just tell you to submit a ticket no matter what. I will be putting in a dispute with PayPal if i do not receive word back in the next few days. This is ludicrous and a HORRIBLE business practice. If this is how paying customers are treated there are plenty of other antivirus programs i could use.

You should have received a reply as normally it can be up to ten working days.

You can also try contacting Sales using the on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for: Sales inquiries - give them the ticket ID and other handy information, email address, date, etc.

Canceling a order means you haven't paid. If you have paid, you did not have canceled the order.

Multiple requests/tickets makes it that you will get back on the bottom of the stack, meaning you will have to wait longer.

Hi Eddy, I purchased the item then realised within 2 days it was not for me so requested a refund as per my ‘Right of Cancellation within 7 working days’. Thanks for your concern ref. my being word perfect.

Just a Note: You might want to Remove your email address as Spam Bots can harvest open email address.
Just the Ticket ID is requested.

Again still no response or anything… Officialy the worst customer support ive ever encountered. I will be uninstalling avast and replacing it with something new. I should not be treated like this as a customer for almost 3 years now. This is pathetic on their part.

Users are getting their refunds, it is simply taking longer then most are prepared to accept.

Message for Iholmanc - hang on in there. Finally received my full refund 31st October, 22 days after original ticket issued. Thanks everyone who gave advice.
