Hello,
I have a little problem with my email client and Avast. Looks like after last update Avast has spoofed email certificates.
I have attached a screenshot.
Is it normal for Avast to spoof email certificates?
Thanks.

Hi,
Generally, the email client should accept the certificate created by Avast as trusted. Could you try and see if this helps: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Troubleshoot-invalid-email-certificate/
If not, could you please add a screenshot of the certificate itself?
I’m using eM Client. When I have imported it there, nothing changes.
Screenshot is in the attachment.
Thank you.
Edit:
There is no option in eM Client to import this kind of certificates. It can only use encryption certificates.
Hi,
Please go to your eM Client > “Settings” (cogwheel)> “Signing and Encryption” > “Certificates and Keys” > “Manage Certificates” > “Others’certificates/keys” Click on “Import” and add the Avast certificate. If you receive the notification again, select “Don’t ask me again” and CONNECT
@r@vast
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried that, but nothing changes.
And like I said before it looks like eM Client doesn’t have an option for it, they are encryption certificates: https://forum.emclient.com/t/avast-mail-shield-certificate/59771
I also have noticed that Avast certificate is different every time I reboot my PC. Is there a way to make them the same since they are valid for a couple of months? This way I could check the “Don’t ask me again” option so it wouldn’t bother me every time, but only once in a couple months.
