Avast Email Signature removal and , continuous detection ever 15 minutes

Hey all. New PC, windows 10. I installed avast but its doing 2 things that are annoying me.

  1. signing my emails. There is no enable email signature tab in General, and I am sure i have the latest version. In the core I am able to click an email tab but it says its not installed. Only web shield is on.

  2. seconds its doing this god forsaken thing and spamming notifications every 15mins exactly. " Threat Blocked" “We’ve safely aborted a connection on Kerumal.com because it was infected with URL: Blacklist”

Hoping to get some answers here.
