Avast Emergency updater doen's work.

so, with all the drama with the meltdown problem and everybody talking here i noticed the avast emergency update in my task manager doesn’t work, so i had to run it manually to download the lastest security updates.

in task manager the updater is on, but in “last run” it says: “The operator or administrator has refused the request (0x800710E0)”
i’m the administrator of my PC and i’m pretty sure i didn’t refuse anything. :stuck_out_tongue: anybody knows why this happens? thanks!

It has been mentioned in another topic, if manually running the emergency update it has to be run with escalated privileges (right click on the file and select Run As Administrator).
