Avast! Firewall ANNOYANCE!!!

Avast did NOT used to do this: It asks my Outpost Firewall for Internet Access SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!! This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!!! I used to be able to give it access to the Internet for Scanning, Web, and Updates ONE TIME through my FireWall and it was good to go. It never bothered me again once I had it’s permissions set up in Outpost Firewall ONE TIME!!! What the heck is the matter with your programmers??? I have NO OTHER PROGRAM the constantly asks for NEW FireWall permissions ALL THE TIME!!! My wife and kids have absolutely NO IDEA what to do when these Firewall Popups for Avast! continually pop up on them!!! Give me a BREAK…sheeeeeesssshhhhh!!! Put this BACK the way it used to be PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

2 Windows 7 Ultimate and 2 Windows XP Pro Computers.
Avast! 2014 most current up to date version.
Outpost Firewall 2014 up to date.

Keep in mind that your AVERAGE user is going to be absolutely confused by your Avast! constantly wanting NEW Internet Access Several times a day!!!

I don’t run avast anymore BUT, when I did there was never any such issue with firewalls.

Look around the forum, there are plenty of folk here use Outpost Firewall, I don’t see them having this problem.

Yes, I did not either… this just started recently after an Avast! program update. I end up with literally dozens of Avast! Setup files listed in the Firewall, each one in a different location, hence Outpost Firewall dutifully asks if I want to let it access the Internet each time it CHANGES. In the past, I only had to set this ONE TIME and it was good to go every time instead of CHANGING every single time.

NO I am not running 2 firewalls. For your nfo, I got my first computer in 1979 and did programming and hardware work. I am 66 years old. I ran an EBBS starting in 1980 for 10 years. NO, only ONE Firewall… DUH DUH DUH… what in the world made you think anything like that??? Totally NOT helpful. A waste of your time and mine.

With having been computing both hardware and software since 1979 I will bet I have more experience and knowledge than you

NO NO NO an NO again. And what has that got to do with Avast! continually having to have NEW Firewall Permissions all the time. It has done this SEVERAL times just today.

hmmm…your posting style…i would have guessed it was kids posting

Yes, when you have NO REAL SOLUTIONS just insult the person. Lowest form. There, putting a wink face makes it better, eh. Since this is happening on 4 different computers it is definitely an Avast! change in programming. They need to put it back the way it was.
