avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport

I dont think this is minor or major error.

I have installed avast Premier and all service was running well but on the PC Device Manager there is exclamation icon on avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport and when I check the Device status there is message "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (code 19)

I have test to another PC and have the same status on the Device Manager. Hope avast team can explain this problem.

Today I decide to upgrade the avast! to version 2014.9.0.2008 and after restart the PC (running under windows 7 PRO with the latest windows update, and windows firewall was turn off) avast! Firewall status is Turn Off. I try the button Resolve All then pop up alert about the Firewall can not be start.

any idea how to solve this problem?

The firewall filter has changed for the latest version and I believe it no longer uses the NDIS filter

What version did you upgrade from ? If it was V8 then a clean install should cure the problem

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

[]Run the uninstalltool and accept the reboot to safe mode
[]Once complete reboot your system
[*]Reinstall Avast
