Hi, are you running a VPN…? If so, that’s normal.
No i don’t have VPN.
- Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
- Which version…?
- OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
- Other security related software installed…?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?
-Avast Internet Security
-Version 18.2.2328
-Windows 10 Pro 64bit
-None
-None i use just Avast
Maybe a secondary NW adapter. Any problems with it…?
Ethernet(public)Your wired network adapter ....
I really don’t know what cause this but here is picture what i was find under hidden adapters.I get this network miniports through Windows Update.Maybe is problem with some of these adapters.I try it to disable all and leave just Realtek and still same problem.Anyway i got internet and Avast firewall work normally.Just want to know what cause this second network profile.
Ethernet is your wired LAN connection. Your firewall is set to use the private connection named ‘Network Connection’. Nothing wrong with that. Avast Firewall should have given you the opportunity to name the new connection when you first set it up, which you have seem to have done.
Again, normal.
