avast has tonight started to flag files that i know not to be infected with Win32:Delf-MZG
it wouldn’t even let me download files such as spybot search and destroy soon as I started it would flag it
i have had to remove avast due to the amount of flags it was coming up with
this has caused me no end of problems tonight

Ditto on the point of many file getting flagged tonight for this trojan. Something in the last def’s update has caused alerts to go off in a big way. hope this can be fixed quickly. 
I concur with the previous statements. Right after I updated to the newest version tonight many things are being flagged with what I assume are false positives. Spybot and Speedfan to name a few, both of which came straight from the source and I have never had a problem in the years I have used them. This is just bad, bad, bad, as I don’t like loose ends on my machine. Like the other poster this has caused me nothing but a headache. Thank God for whiskey…
So far on my pc Teamspeak, Teamspeak server, Zoom player, and Feedreader ALL show the same Win32:Delf-MZG virus. I even uninstalled and reinstalled feedreader and it even flaged the .exe file as infected with Win32:Delf-MZG and I couldn’t re-install untill I disabled avast.
Any eta yet??
Agree with all of the above. Virustotal being overloaded with Avast users checking their files 
Adobe bridge and contribute files showing infected before I realised there was a problem and aborted scan. Hate to think what would have happened if I let it run to Z in program files, most of my computer would be in the virus chest :o
I canceled my reboot scan as well until this gets figured out. I have 4 pc’s and they all went off, one by one. waiting for the remaining two to go off as well, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PUT IN THE CHEST
received the new-new definitions update ~15 min ago, still boinking spybot, don’t know whether to reboot or not with no guidance from alwil. confirming, defs are within 30 minutes of release.
I’m having the same problem but only with all versions of zoom player (I’ve been using it for years and never had a problem).
