You can see in this forum http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=3013;start=15 that, sometimes, we must have another kind of access that the GUI interface, I mean, under DOS or at the boot-time.

Come on avast!, where is the DOS version? Will we let just with Bart CD? ::slight_smile:

Sorry, but you must confess it it sounded a bit strange.

Off-course we need some alternative access to commands and systems. I still prefer the command prompt for some things. Seems to work faster.

Peter, I’m not upset… ;D
It’s just the case that, sometimes, with a virus infection, the avast! for DOS could be an alternative. Ok, we can buy the BART CD from Alwil… The avast! Cleaner does not work for all viruses… :wink:
