Due to the recent discontinuation of U3, I have lost my avast! Anti-virus U3 San Disk Edition, which I dearly loved. I came to rely on that app and renewed my license annually for the past several years! Matter of fact I just renewed it this month.
I have switched over to Portable Apps(just to keep from losing Thunderbird and Firefox)which has ClamWin Anti-virus, but it’s no match to Avast! How do I get my Avast! back?! Any ideas?!

As far as I’m aware, I don’t think this is possible…since there are many low level drivers etc. that are required for avast! to run, and this would not be possible to run in a portable environment…
I know the U3 version was basically that, but I suspect it ran different somehow…
As a portableapps user myself, I know that there are a few posts about this on the PA forums too…
