Hi Avast Forum 
I have tried nearly all the avast install packages to get Avast pda to run on my HTC touch HD to no avail. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Just would like to share, basically you need to check whether your HTC hardware spec equal with existing avast 4 PDA edition at : http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-pda.html
As long your processor and OS at your mobile device is compatible, it shouldn’t be a problem for you.

Can you detail the steps you took? Did you get any error messages?
It installs OK on HTC Touch 3G (windows mobile 6.1)

I’ve never been able to get it installed on any smart phone. I now have a palm pre, and I doubt I’ll be able to install it on that either (but I don’t blame them for that one).
I just download all versions and try to install them on the phone, if none of them work, I give up. Never had a virus on my phone (thusfar) anyway.
