Hi All!
I have used Avast for sometime in windows and have never had any problems. I use Opera Browser and integrated mail which Avast scans. Now I am dual booting with Linux, also using Opera. My question is, will Avast for linux perform the same as in my windows setup? Will it scan emails in Opera for Linux. Also does it come with a similar GUI? Iam using Avast Free. Thanks Alwil!!

In fact, Linux version does not have (yet) an on-line scanning. So, no integration as you’re saying is available.
There is a GUI for on-demmand scanning. You must ‘change’ some settings to have a mail integration.
