This is a support forum, not a banking site, so why the requirement for an 8-digit password?
I’d like to see some sort options when getting results from a Forum search, such as sort by date. Some of the posting are so old as to be worthless.

A weak short password could lead to your account being hijacked ad for a security based forum that wouldn’t really look good.
When you initiate a forum search there should also be another option to use the ‘Advanced’ search option. Just click on the Search button without entering any data and you get this screen, use the Advanced search option. It may also possibly to get this after having run a a normal search.
