Avast found Worm/Virus

Doing a full scan with Avast pro(trial) but scanning with skin on simple user face Avast found what it says is a virus/worm in a memory dmp file containing 261,196 kb. Avast would not put this in the virus chest due to what it says was being to large,so I opted to put it in recycle bin in case of it being a FP. My questian is,is this safe to delete ? Or should I check with virustotal, but I could not figure how to scan something in the recycle bin to that web site. I guess if I deliete this and it turns out to be a FP and I need whatever gets deleted I can always rollback to a snapsht before this and restore.
Anyone have advice on my dilema.

(Or should I restore this file back to my computer,do another scan with Avast in enhanced user interface and see if I can put it in the virus chest?)

The memory.dmp file is effectively redundant and can be deleted without problem.

It is created after a system crash, it is only of use to someone (a tech/support staff member) and is only of use for that particular crash. If you have another crash at some time, a new one will be created anyway.

Thank you. ;D

No problem, glad I could help.

A belated welcome to the forums.
