Infolge meines vollen Terminkalenders mit Arztterminen kam ich bisher nicht dazu, mich um diese Sache zu kümmern.
Gern hätte ich eine Antwort auf meine Frage, warum ich auf dem XP-Rechner keine Stream-Updates mehr bekomme. Wurde vielleicht vergessen, auf einen anderen Server umzustellen? Da ich sowohl auf dem XP- als auch auf dem W7 ultimate-Rechner dieselbe Programm-Version (s. Anlagen) verwende, bekomme ich auf letzterem weiterhin Stream-Updates!

Seit ein paar Tagen laufen die Stream-Updates wieder unter XP, obwohl ich nichts verändert habe. Da kommt Freude auf. Einen Grund dafür habe ich noch immer nicht.

Until now nobody gave me the answer of my question: which of the upper Avast program versions will fit the Win os XP or Win7?

Yes, but you didn’t put a link it when asking about it in this topic which is why I gave a link to where it was originally posted (which I had seen).
This was about Avast Virus definition support ending for Avast program versions 9/10/11 would end in summer 2023.
This would effectively impact all OSes still using Avast versions 9/10/11.
I can’t say about Windows 7, but I do know about WinXP having previously used that. The last supported Avast Program for XP was Avast 18.8, the problem being some had problems with that version and had to fall back to Avast 18.5 (if they could find an off-line installation file for that). This is why I mentioned availability of off-line installation files in this post (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=52252.msg1705959#msg1705959) as Avast doesn’t appear to have made any plans for that

I would keep a copy of that old off-line installation file (or its location), should you ever need it again.

Nach meiner erfolgreichem Umstellung auf die Avast Programm-Version Free 18.5.2342 erhalte ich laufend Reklame-Erinnerungen mehrfach am Tag, dass ich ein Avast-Geschenk (Upgrade) auspacken soll (s. Anlage) und bisher habe ich Nichts gefunden, wie ich das abstellen kann. Es nervt!!!
