I always used the “30 years license key”, from Avast Free 6 to 8.
Now, on 1 pc I updated Avast 8 to 9 (2014) and the license remains ok, it expires on 2038.
On another pc, with a fresh Avast 9 installation, the same license code said “Expired”.
Why ???

Because you are using a illegal key.
Either use the free version of avast or pay for it.

A 30 year key is a cracked/Pirated key so don’t expect any help on this forum >:(

Really ??
Sorry, i thought it was ok that serial, it worked all version from 6 to 8 and it was all ok.
I always use the free version of Avast.
So i think the solution is install version 8 then upgrade, just to mantain the license.
Thanks!

I suggest not using this pirated key at all. Pirated/cracked license keys for a product is illegal >:(

Depending on what version of avast you are using - for the free version you can register through the interface ( easiest option ) or register for a free key from here http://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php
Paid versions require payment then a key will be sent to you.
There is no 30 year license Key. :o
