Avast Free Antivirus no autostart

My antivirus won’t start when I start up my computer. I tried to delay the startup in the troubleshoot option but still won’t autostart. I also tried avastclear and re-download it but the same result.

Is any previous used antivirus program removed using that vendors removal tool?

I have a similar problem. After starting the system, the antivirus cannot be opened for a long time. You have to click on its shortcut many times and wait about 2 minutes.

This problem appeared on several of my computers. At the same time, the antiviral program itself works well, no more problems.

System Windows 10 home, the latest version. (clean, virus free)
Avast latest version.
Reinstalling does not help.

What are you using as evidence of Avast antivirus starting? (or not starting)
If you are seeing Avast icon appearing in system tray after a delay after startup, then that is fairly normal in my experience. However, that icon and the UI are the last things to come up and do not mean antivirus process has not already started.

@ MC14,

Clicking the Avast shortcut several times just after the user desktop appears on system boot says you are looking for the Avast Program Window to show up (immediately) on the desktop. If it appears after two minutes in, you are doing well, as your system is starting many different programs and processes at the same time.

The Avast Program Window is also known as the program GUI (Graphic User Interface) which you interact with using your mouse or keyboard shortcuts.

Hopefully that is what you are referring to. Avast begins protecting your system almost immediately after your system logo turns off on your screen.

It’s that early in the start-up of your system. You won’t see the avast program gui until later, it is too soon.

@ Kwaniity,

You mean you changed the attached settings below?
