I just bought a new computer and I’m putting Avast and Comodo on it before I connect it to the Internet. I note with some concern that the Avast download link connects to Cnet. The last time I downloaded something from Cnet, it came with all sorts of junkware that I definitely dom’t want on my brand new computer. I’ve read that Cnet adds the junkware itself, much to the consternation of the original software authors. Are there any other download sites I can use?

this must be uninstalled before installing avast
it is recomended to run a removal tool after the uninstall so all leftovers are gone
