reinstalled avast about an hour ago and it crashed again within 20 minutes

I tried using the free tool to uninstall it earlier, weird thing is I don’t even remember having ever installed bitdefender? so im not sure which version to try to uninstall
(when I go to that site it asks which version I want to uninstall)
is there anyway of working that out from the file type?

(when I go to that site it asks which version I want to uninstall)if you look at the bottom pic here http://www.bitdefender.com/support/How-to-uninstall-Bitdefender-333.html there is a dropp down menu in the tool that say [b]all bitdefender products[/b] so i guess the tool is the same for all (with same year), so just try one
