Zdravím. Nová verze Avastu 25/08 po aktualizaci definic nezmaže předchozí verzi definic.
Udělá to až po restartu PC. Takže 270 MB dat v C: navíc. PROČ?
PS: Tohle tu už před lety bylo a opravilo se to.

Also on Avast Free but I’m set for manual program updates and I still use Avast Free 25.5.
However I believe the practice of holding the previous days Defs sub folder is the same.
It is common for Avast to hold on the the previous days VPS Update, to allow for a fallback if necessary. On my system this size is greater (I have no idea why yours would be much smaller).
In the greater scheme of things my C: drive is 1TB (1000GB) and plenty of space left so not an issue.
It has always been this way immediately after an update.
However, if you restart, the old one disappears.
Pánové, někdo z Avastu si už toho problému všiml. Problém se přestal dnešním dnem objevovat.
Teď po aktualizaci stará definice zmizí max do 20 minut. Tento problém už neexistuje - aspoň u mne.

Chyba, znovu maže až po restartu PC - vracím se k předešlé verzi 25/07.
A moderátoři mlčí….
