I’d like to report that the Registration site for Avast Free https://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php has been down for the past few days. I’ve registered three times and have never received a key in my e-mail (and yes, I’ve checked the spam folder).
If the registration continues to fail I will stop using Avast.
It seems avast has yet to update their website to reflect the new registration policy and procedures.
Have you tried to do it within the avast program window (gui)?

Why do you need to use this off-line registration function. That said it shouldn’t matter it should work, why you aren’t getting an email is strange.
Is the system you are using off-line ?
What avast version are you using ?
You should be able to re-register from the avast user interface, but it has changed some from earlier versions.
Does your avast Subscription/Registration window look like this image ?
Thank you all for your help. The registration currently has 25 days remaining. I hoped to re-register early so that registration can extend for another year. Based on your advice it sounds like I have to wait until the registration is closer to expiring in order to renew from within Avast.

I have just tried that and there is nowhere to input the code for the free version. I have 328 days remaining so I just tested it to see if MartinZ post was correct.
I was able to copy the Activation code but there is nowhere to copy it too. I even pasted it into the Insert activation code field (used for paid versions) and it split it over the three fields, but it didn’t extend the free registration period.
So it would appear there are limitations as to how far in advance you can re-register the free version. Perhaps this is like the old avast free re-registration only when you start to get notifications does the avastUI change to accept the free registration.

A business decision to stop avast free users re-registering early, well that’s going to lose them Millions in lost revenue on all of those early free re-registrations.
I think they are going to have to get one of these emails telling them they have come into millions that Bob keeps receiving.
It also means that MartinZ needs to change his comment.
Hi, (as usual) that’s a marketing thingy, to give you the option to upgrade. 
When you can’t even re-register the free version, you are hardly likely to go for a paid option and find out what’s broken their.
There are times when I wonder what planet marketing people come from, certainly not the same one we inhabit.
It’s the planet closest to the Sun, and you only get off it if you sell sell sell.
The last clean Install I did just 2 days ago, had no problem registering.

I have the same problem, off-line registration not working. I sent 8 request since saturday from 3 different email address’s with no response. Not in spam or suspect folder either. I even added “register@asw.cz” to my contact list. Still no luck. This is for the free antivirus edition. Both desktops due at same time, bummer! Any thoughts?
