Avast free trial cancellation

Hello

I am trying to find a way of cancelling the automatic renewal of the free trial I’ve just gone with, but I cannot find it anywhere, nor is anything in my subscriptions area for some reason?? Can anyone help?

When I click on ‘manage my subscriptions’ in https://account.avast.com/, no subscriptions come up, despite the app showing various subscriptions.

So I cannot cancel any subscriptions on my browser because it’s not recognising them like it does in the app itself?

First:
For security reasons I suggest you remove your image from a publicly available forum and these subscriptions could be harvested.

I have yes but as mentioned, no subscriptions come up when using the first link.

The second link goes through steps to install Avast Online Security & Privacy but I don’t want Avast at all anymore.

I don’t understand why the free trial is not showing up under ‘subscriptions’ yet it does in the app.

Subscriptions won’t come up how would they know them from an unknown connection.

The idea is you input the email you used when getting the trial subscription and the subscriptions that you had in your image.

The first link is a general FAQ one and select the option that is closest to what you are trying to achieve. Or other help suggestions.
As for the subscriptions not showing they should assuming that you used the same email address in your avast account.

I don’t know if the free trial shows up in your account, I guess the free trial is different as you haven’t yet paid for a subscription.

As an Avast Free User I have never had to do this so I’m working blind.

EDIT: Another link for you to try - https://support.avast.com/en-en/article/35#idt_010 - but as I already said this is going to rely on the email used when getting the trial version/s being the same.

It is the same email address I used when signing up for the free 60 day trial, they took my card details when I started the free trial so I can only assume the subscription will become a paid subscription after the 60 days, which is why I’m concerned that there is no subscription anywhere in my Avast account to cancel.

Within the link you recently provided, it says “If you entered payment card details before starting a free trial, you need to cancel the trial subscription before it ends if you do not want the paid subscription to start and be charged for its first term. If you do not cancel the trial subscription, the paid subscription starts and the first term is charged on the last day of your trial.” but I have no way of cancelling the subscription since nothing is showing up."

You at the very least have to establish contact - that is why I gave the links to try to establish contact with Avast Support.

Thank you - I have since contacted the support and they have come back to me saying they have located things, despite it not showing, and am in the midst of hopefully settling this with them directly.
