Avast Free - Weird Avast AvLaunch Component in Start Up

I was going to install the free Avast and I saw too late that it was going to install the Avast Secure Browser that I didn’t want. I find this kind of stuff off putting so decided I didn’t want it.

So I uninstalled Avast after a fight to do removal/uninstall. However I still have loads of Avast Antivirus Engine Server, remediation Avast Antivirus in my Task Manager Processes that I cannot get rid of delete etc.

I have Avast AvLaunch Component in my start up and it won’t let me even disable it in Windows 10 Settings Srart Up Apps. I find this quite disconcerting.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of everything Avast from my laptop please

What windows are you running?
What avast version?
Free /premium?
Any other security products that you have installed?

And now, for the tips:

  1. If you see left overs of avast on your computer, try removing with the avast clear utility:
    https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
  2. Tell me, did you uninstall avast the usual way through the control panel?
