Avast full virus scan not finishing

it says the scan is 100% but the screen goes blank and it just keeps running. I am on program version 24.11.6137 (build 24.11.9615.889).

Manual Full Virus Scan: Glitch?

Version: 24.11. 9615 I opted to run a manual FVS and, after it completed (and I hovered’ over the ‘Info’ button), it stated: ‘FVS Was Stopped Before It Finished. We Suggest Running It Again.’ Is this a glitch?
