Avast Full Virus scan says at the end that it was cancelled

Every time I do a full virus scan, I get to 99% and then message/virus results pop up and say that scan was cancelled.

It has never happened before. Is that a bug or virus and scan was really cancelled, or has it actually been finished and only wrong message pops up?
I found a similiar thread with same mesaage popping up back from 2017, people had issue with same thing.

First thing to try is repair of Avast.
Open Avast User Interface then:
Menu>Settings>Troubleshooting>[REPAIR APP]

If that does not fix it, you may need to do a new clean install of Avast.
