After updating to 2208 clicking the qustionmark on any avast page returns: “File not found”.
I tried repair install as well as running the removal tool folowing a clean install.
This has not fixed the problem.

Yes any page in AVAST UI no help after clicking ? just returning: “File not found”.

Inderdaad, er is een probleem als je nederlands als taal geïnstalleerd hebt.
In de avast folder heb je (als het goed is) een bestand genaamd: Avast5_1043.chm
Dat is een help bestand.
Het is wel in het Engels, maar beter iets dan niets.
Ik meld het probleem zo wel even aan avast.
Avast5_1043.chm is inderdaad aanwezig maar dit is de helpfile voor AVAST 2014
This is working OK on my avast free 2208 - just about to check it on my win7 netbook.
Whilst checking on my win7 netbook, I got an permissions popup for avastSvc.exe making a connection, so I don’t know if this file you can’t find is off-line, which would seem strange. After giving permission the page displayed.
Checked the ? on several other pages, same result page displayed - as I would expect from the first instance.
So I just wonder if this isn’t a localised issue, were the translation hasn’t been completed in all languages.

I have the same problem. No help file just the message file not found. I have a Swedish language version. I installed a second language in the language option I installed English but no help file showed up. Couldn´t read the answer given in Dutch sorry to say.
It seems to be a bug with certain languages.
I have reported it to avast.
This applies also to Finnish language version.
