Looking at Avast Help I can see in the description of Internet Mail Provider Settings items about different pages. After “Heuristic - Advanced” Page there are 2 more pages: “Packers” page and “Virus” Page.
But looking at the real settings in the Mail Provider I can not found any pages after “Heuristic - Advanced” Page.
So is it my Mail provider with reduced fuctionality or in contrary it is my help file with enhanced one?
I believe that those functions are available only in the Pro version of avast and not in the Home edition.
Well, then the following question: is it my Pro version with reduced fuctionality or my help with enhanced one

Well - I should have asked also about your operating system.
Remember that some functions are not supported in Windows 9x systems.
The helps describes the way it looks like in the Pro Edition, when you edit the on-access scanning task’s properties (via Enhanced UI).

I have read and gone through the steps above, but I can’t find the “packers” page and the “virus” page as per the original post.
I have Avast 4.8 pro, Windows XP, and have the enhanced GUI I think. And I haven’t found it!

Hollingwood, click the option ‘Show advanced Tasks’ on the settings.
Also the ‘Advanced configuration’ in the bottom of the Tasks properties.

Do you mean “Show special tasks (Explorer…etc.)”?
This is the way my Pro is configured - as in your screen shot.
I don’t have tabs for the virus and/or packers pages in any of my provider configurators.
What gives?
