Avast! hide symbol of the programs in tasks bar

After installation Avast! hide some symbol of the programs in tasks bar. So I can not to address this programs. Why? And as this problem to correct? :-[

What do you mean? avast! doesn’t hide anything…

avast shouldn’t change anything on system tray.
Maybe you can delay avast loading (Settings > Troubleshooting > Delay avast services…) and test.
Which programs are being hide?

Thank you. Already copy on International zone

The Sense? He hides installed program from autothread

As we just talk about hiding…
Better hide your email in the forum…!

Please post a screenshot of the problem, I’d say there is some misunderstanding here.

Its so much easier to use Additional Options… to post pictures.

  1. What you are seeing is the Avast! attention icon. It is telling you that you are not fully protected. Open the Avast! GUI and go to Summary-Current Status. This will show you the problem(s) that Avast! is reporting on. See the attached example. Take note of the problem(s) and click on “Fix Now” or “Turn On”. Fixing or turning on may not cure the problem until the cause is identified. Please report back with your findings.

  2. That may not be what you are actually asking though. Are you also wondering why Avast’s icon pushes one of your notification icons into a hidden part of the task bar? If so then right click in the task bar area then properties and tick the “show all icons and notifications” box. Or go to Control Panel and you can do the same thing there. Or you can instruct it to hide notifications that you do not care to see. Or you can click on the notification arrow and it will expand to show hidden icons. (Windows 7- may be different for other operating systems)

I think that your question is more fully answered in #2, but Avast! is also reporting that you are not fully protected so that needs to be looked into. I highly recommend that you do not hide the Avast! icon. It gives you important security information at a glance.

Off topic: GUI sure looks nice!
Below is an example only.

Yes, avast! doesn’t hide or push anything by itself - it just adds an icon into the tray area. The operating system itself then decides to push the other icons away… just click the arrow and configure them as you wish.

Or does he mean that he want to hide the avast! icon in the task bar ?

It isn’t that the icon is hidden, but there is the Asterisk in the Yellow triangle over the icon (hidden).

So the question is why is the asterisk there, why are some shields not running.

Right-click the taskbar. Select “properties”. A window similar to the one below will open. Make sure the bottom box does not have a tick in it. All your icons will remain displayed in the system tray.

As Charyb said, the Avast icon is indicating that attention is required. Do as suggested.

I have fixed long ago: Settings > Troubleshooting > Delay avast services…

What is your operating system and Service Pack level ???

What is the CPU type and speed and how much RAM does the system have?

May be. But, when was installed previous(4.8 ) version - all worked orderly. And if delete(remove) avast! - a problems does not exist.

The Sense is a program? ???
Again, which programs are being hide?
