I use final version of avast internet security and update this suite. but high usage cpu .why?

Already performed a repair of avast ?
Already did a clean installation of the latest version ?

Did you use avastclear while performing the clean installation ?
Did you reboot a few times after installing ?
Is the usage normal if you have FireFox closed ?

I had mentioned this problem several years ago while Avast changed its GUI design.
It caused to use high resource and high loading of PC indeed, even Avast did not accepted the comments.
After these few years, Avast SW became as like as bulky monster.
The big problem is that it makes the PC running slowly in old PC with lots of unuse function embedded.
I really hope Avast can listen our feedback.
Please focus on the Malware/ Virus detection and repair. Reduce the false positive problems rather than just intends for the fancy functions.
A custom install should help.
