Avast! Home Edition 4.8.1358 is on filehippo.com, whats new in this version?
You will fiend it here…when the page is updated…
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-4-home_pro-revision-history.html
Now this is really strange, as there is no v4.8.1358 AFAIK.
I see that FileHippo and Majorgeeks (among others) list it, but when you download it, it is 1356.
I wonder why they thought there was a new version? (and how did they come up with the version number…)
Vlk
so there is no such build ???
I read this thread yesterday. I use a download manager(GetRight), and it has a function to see if a file has been updated. So I downloaded the “new” version. Using Hash from Robin Keir gives the following result. Note that I had renamed the September update.
Both were downloaded from http://download665.avast.com/iavs4pro/setupeng.exe

Perhaps this confused them, but if they’d checked they should have known.
Correct!
filehippo.com have now removed Avast! Home Edition 4.8.1358 as the latest update. A bit too quick off the mark there it would seem!
I did send them a mail.
