Avast Home repair feature?

Hi :slight_smile:

I understand there is a repair feature for Avast.

Is it possible to have a mini tutorial created we can referr members of other security forums to when something breaks Avast?
I don’t have Avast installed and it is a bit difficult for me (and I imagine other HJT helpers) to visualize when instructing victims on repair if the program is damaged.
Some of the more saavy victims can figure it out but some cannot and I think a tut would be benificial to many.

There is nothing complex, here it is.

For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.
