Avast Home repeats scans

I have done two manual scans of my hard drive with the home version of the product. One was with the SCAN ARCHIVES enabled and one was without. On both occasions I have noticed that the program appears to be redoing the scan. By this I mean that it shows that is it scanning logical hard drives that it already scanned already.!

I dont really understand your problem. Can you describe it a little bit more?

What behaviour of avast! did you expect?

I don’t think avast! scans any file multiple times during a task (“scan”)… what exactly did you see to make you think so?
