hi all. new Avast user here . I heard that Avast and Zonealarm pro dont play well together been trying to research it but cant seem to find a straight answer I really like Avast and would keep it over Zonealarm pro for I do use XPS firewall for now but I like the fact that Zonealarm wont allow programs to call home without my aproval. My system is a Dell and I know its always calling out from its game console which uses wild tangent and sonic programs to its auto updater.thanks in advance for any straight answers.

So, if you have recently downloaded Avast, then you should not have any problems because we are now well past that pre-release version Vlk mentioned. I use Zone Alarm Free without any problems at all. I think what you heard about ZA Pro has to do with it’s privacy features and I think some just do not use that ZA Pro feature if they have problems.
