I have a friend who has a worm in his computer and restarts his computer in about 7-10 minutes after turning it on. I have tinkered his BIOS a bit and his PC was “normal” as in it would not restart by itself. Now I need to get rid of the worm from his computer, so I thought of installing avast on his computer. Now the problem with this is that the previous time I had tried to install it on his PC, he needed an internet connection, something he canceled a while back. Is there a way to install it on his PC without the internet or is he pretty much doomed? Or a different anti-virus without the use of the internet?

Yep, you should be able to install without an internet connection
Just download the setup file from the website and transfer it to the computer you want to work with.
