I had a problem with the Internet Security Suite making my computer lock up, particularly on shut down and start up. (It is a brand new Toshiba NB300 and having it out of action for much of the time I have had it was very frustrating).
A friend who has a fair bit of tech support experience tracked down the issue:
The driver that came with Windows 7 was version 7.010 for the "Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller". The latest version is 7.018 which is available from this page here:Hard to say who’s to fault since this user at this forum had the same problem and he was running AVG:
