This is bothering me. My internet speed is 630 kbps and without avast! it works just fine, full speed and all. But with avast! on, my internet speed is like 300 kbps. Why?

Are you running through a wireless connection? If so, you may be getting interference from other networks near you. Try changing the channel your router uses and see what happens.
